About The Event

Welcome to the Moonlighter's Practical Pistol Proficiency

Join us for a day of skill building drills to enhance your live fire capabilities and inform your own dry fire practice. Over the course of the day, we will be singling out specific, cornerstone fundamentals to build our capabilities which we will compound throughout the day until we combine all our fundamentals for competitive stages at the end of the course.

Expect to receive a welcome packet via email in the week leading up to the event. This packet will contain instructions on how to join our group chat, safety information, location and participant guidelines.

What You Need:

  • Duty or other OWB holster with reliable belt set up and storage for 3 or more mags
  • Eye and ear protection, and appropriate attire for the day
  • Round Count: Minimum of 300rnds, up to 500
  • A packed lunch and a gallon or more of water

Loaner gear available on request, but it is advised that you practice with a familiar firearm.

Safety Policy: Safety is of the utmost priority at all times, but YOU are the primary safety. Please ensure that all rounds are accounted for. During a drill, firearms will remain unloaded and holstered, unless on the firing line and instructed to make ready/fire. When not participating in an active drill, handguns will remain holstered.
