Pistol Skills Maintenance Day

Welcome to the Virginia Moonlighters Pistol Maintenance Day!

Join us for a unique event blending instruction and “Open Range” at Providence Forge.

The day kicks off with a comprehensive session on handgun marksmanship techniques and skills, followed by a series of engaging drills suitable for all proficiency levels.

Around lunchtime, we’ll dedicate 2-3 hours to an “Open Range” session, allowing participants to practice their marksmanship independently with Cadre alongside to ensure safety standards and help answer questions.

To wrap up the day, we will offer two 25 yard “Stages” featuring multiple engagements. Participants will have the opportunity, under the guidance of instructors, to practice “Moving and Shooting” to begin their transition to Va Moonlighters Dynamic Movement events.

Please note that this event is exclusively for pistol/handgun enthusiasts; rifle caliber platforms will not be permitted.

All drills will be ran from a range belt or bench/table. No concealed carry or inside the waist band holsters for this event.

Our goal is to foster a sense of community in a safe, structured, and encouraging environment as we transition into more advanced courses this Spring/Summer.
